Frequently asked questions...
I am really nervous about driving, how can you help? All our instructors are fully
qualified and approved by the Driving Standards Agency, so they will teach you in
an approved way and allow you to develop at your own pace. Furthermore, our instructors
are friendly and patient and will try to put you at ease - you can request a trial
lesson to see how you get on.
I am a confident driver already, but my current instructor says I am not ready for
the test? In all probability your current instructor is right, but we can offer a
no-commitment assessment of your current driving ability to give you a second opinion.
Can my parents teach me to drive? Yes of course, subject to being properly insured,
but most parents will not be aware of the required standard for today’s driving test.
Also without a dual-controlled vehicle you are both at a higher level of risk. They
may also have picked up bad habits over the years which you will inherit, as a result
you may end up spending more money on driving tests than you need. We can work with
you and your parents to help you pass the test while keeping the number of lessons
required to a minimum.
I have been driving for years, what more could I learn? Our instructors are qualified
to teach experienced drivers too - brushing up on your skills could save some ones
life one day. Our advanced skills course could identify and fix faults with your
driving, help you make quicker progress on your journeys and save you fuel at the
same time. You will also become a safer, more aware driver helping you cope safely
with some of the idiots on the road.
